Who can apply
Our key criteria are musical talent and financial need, meaning young musicians can apply without formal exams.
- We aren’t able to support beginner-level musicians.
- We can't accept applicants already in the Connect programme.
Am I eligible?
You can apply if:
- You're aged 5–17
- You're living and studying in the UK
- You're a musician (any genre)
- Your household income is under £40,000
If you've lived in the UK for fewer than three years
Living in the UK for fewer than three years?
One of these must apply:
- Resident in the British Islands for 3 years
- EEA/Swiss national (child of migrant worker)
- Refugee or child of a refugee
